On Wednesday, Robbie Keane extended his record as the leading active player with the most international goals before retiring and passing the record on to two players - Cristiano Ronaldo and Guatemala's Carlos Ruiz with 61 goals each.
Ronaldo's tenure as the leading active scorer is already at an end.
Ruiz scored two goals in his team's draw with Trinidad and Tobago to pull clear of the Portuguese superstar - and that's all with Ruiz retiring from international football for a year in 2012 before returning.
The 36-year-old striker has scored against the likes of United States, Mexico, and Paraguay - and his 63 goals in 131 games is a remarkably similar ratio to our own Robbie.
Ruiz spent the majority of his career scoring goals for fun in the MLS, and said that he plans to retire at the end of the season to run for the position of president of the Guatemalan FA - giving Ronaldo the record back.
